R452A was developed by Honeywell and Chemours as a lower GWP replacement for R404A in transport refrigeration, with some use in DX low to medium temperature refrigeration.
It is a 3-part blend consisting of R32, R125 and R1234yf and is classified by ASHRAE as A1 non-flammable. Official manufacturer information also describes R452A as a nonflammable replacement for R-404A and R-507 in new and retrofit systems
