- This is the internationally preferred solution for new air-conditioning devices, heat pumps, etc. Unlike R-22, R-410A works at much higher pressures and exclusively with POE synthetic oil.
- The enormous advantage of R-410A is its high cooling capacity which can be up to 50% higher than with R-22. For this reason, it is possible to use smaller components and create more compact machines than the R-22.
- Copper accessories, pipes, valves, compressors, etc. they must be designed to withstand the pressure increase of R-410A. Thanks to its working pressures, the R-410A is not suitable for converting existing and operating devices with R-22.
- For this conversion the R-424A or the R-407C would be recommended as a direct substitute (drop-in).

R134a refrigerant used for refrigeration and air conditioning applications in medium and high temperature refrigeration. Used in air-conditioning systems in residential buildings, domestic refrigeration devices, in commercial facilities (refrigerators, freezers, vending machines, refrigeration units for air conditioning of industrial buildings) and in refrigerated transport. R134a is also still used in the automotive industry, in older generation car air conditioning systems. R134a is a popular element in many HFC blends.
